History of our School
St. John Paul II Early Learning Center began the planning phase for construction in 2017 and will open its doors to the Nocatee community and beyond in the Fall of 2018. Deacon Scott J. Conway, Superintendent of Schools, contacted Fr. Ed Shaner, the Finance and Parish Councils who gave their unanimous support to move forward with the project. Under the direction of the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Augustine, Most Rev. Felipe Estevez, he gave his approval for construction of this new site. Deacon Conway began creating plans for the new center that would involve many of the latest educational innovations in early childhood education.
Construction began in early December 2017, and the foundation began to be poured on December 14, 2017.
